FAQ - Frequently Asked Questions

  • What are processing fees?
Our ticket partner CTS is providing us with its software.
This software is connected to most of the other box offices and enables us and other promoters to administer the tickets globally. The processing fee finances the use of this software, administration, the ticket paper and printing of the tickets. When buying tickets at the Quasimodo or online, this fee becomes effective per each ticket.

  • Why do the Quasimodo concerts always start so late?
This is due to the theatre ‘Vagantenbuehne’ which is adjoining our backstage area. We can only start our concerts when the shows in the ‘Vagantenbuehne’ have ended because otherwise, we would disturb their performance! They mostly end by 22:15 h. We deeply regret this circumstance but cannot do anything about it!

  • Is it allowed to smoke in the club?
No, our club and our restaurant are smoke free!

  • Is there a price discount for students or unemployed?
No! We are offering the concerts at the most favourable prices, which is why we cannot grant further discounts on the tickets. We highly recommend buying your tickets daily from
17:00 p:m in our restaurant, so you can save on the presales fees!

  • Can I come and see a concert as a wheelchair user?
Yes! Unfortunately, the club is not located well for wheelchair users, but when you alert us beforehand in our restaurant; our service personnel will help you access the club using the backstage entrance. You may also inform us on your visit by telephone!

  • When does the box office price come into effect?
The box office price is our evening ticket price and is effective on the day of the event, regardless of the time of day.

  • Why can’t I reserve a table in the club?
Reserving a table is only possible as an exception; we would like to keep the easy atmosphere and the vibrancy in the club!

  • Is there a dress code?
Generally we follow this rule: whether its sneakers, patent leather shoes or rubber boots – music connects and our trend is timeless!
